BARONESS Thatcher, President of The British Forces Foundation, met with BFF supporters during a drinks reception before the Charity's second successful auction night.

She charmed the 100 guests at the Cavalry & Guards Club in London who had gathered for the special fund-raising evening on November 23.

Baroness Thatcher spent an hour or so with the Charity's supporters who then enjoyed a fantastic four-course dinner.

At the end of the meal came The BFF''s fabulous auction with 'money can't buy' experiences. Under the expert guidance of the auctioneer for the night, the Charity's very own Director Mark Cann, the lots raised a grand total of £33,000.

The event was kindly sponsored by the Royal Bank of Scotland.
