THE British Forces Foundation was the real winner when the UK and the USA clashed on the polo field in Florida in January.

The charity event, which has become a popular fixture on the International Polo Club Palm Beach, raised approximately $20,000 for The BFF. The money was raised with a live auction after the play.

On the polo field, the Asprey UK team broke a two-year drought with a seven to three win over the Privilege USA team. Gillian Johnston, who last year played for the American team but this year switched sides, scored four of the UK's goals. The British Forces Foundation Director Mark Cann was also playing on the winning team.
