On Tuesday a brilliant idea was launched in the form of ForcesDeal.com - an insurance comparison website set up by a group of professionals who will donate 70% of its profits from fees to ForcesDeal.com Foundation. This foundation will be arms-length grant-giving charity for other Armed Forces charities, and therefore a unique source of funding for the community of those serving and ex-serving military personnel whom we all admire so much.

I'm proud to be involved in this venture through ForcesDeal.com Foundation and would urge everyone to look at the website for their insurance needs - because a good deal for you is a good deal for those who have or are serving in the Armed Services and are in need. Bearing in mind my earlier comments, this Foundation will support existing service charities - it will not need any fundraising nor will it offer any solutions, it will merely provide money to those that already do.
