Back to Bases Comedy Tour (Nottingham)
October 3, 2012
The British Forces Foundation and Howlin’ Comedy Club – supported by DAVE TV – have joined forces to entertain troops around the country.
The Back to Bases comedy tour kicked off at Chetwynd Barracks in Nottingham for Royal Engineers throughout the military who had gathered for their two-day annual ‘Games’ event.
A huge hangar was converted into a 500-seater venue with the comedy show stage built at one end of tthis vast space and a bar with stage area for a band at the other end.
The show was opened by Nick Page followed by Jamie Sutherland; and after the interval it was the turn of Phil Butler and then Kane Brown. It was a great evening of fantastic entertainment.
The comedy tour moves on to Aldershot, Keogh Barracks and the Defence Medical Services Group, with two new faces on the bill. John Moloney and Jason Patterson join Phil Butler and Kane Brown, while Nick Page and Jamie Sutherland rejoin the tour later down the line.
A massive thank you to DAVE for the sponsorship of the tour.
