23rd December 2011
Stars from the worlds of music, movies, sport and television have got together for The British Forces Foundation's 2011 Christmas dvd given to the 23,000 troops away from family and loved ones over the festive period.
Among those who have sent their Christmas wishes are Stephen Fry, N-Dubz, Jenson Button, Alan Carr, Sterophonics, Pixie Lott, Harry Redknapp, The Saturdays, Simon Pegg, Harry Hill, Jonathan Ross, Katherine Jenkins, Jo Brand, Eliza Doolittle, and Bill Bailey.
A copy of the special BFF dvd was included in all of the UK4U gift boxes which are presented to each and every British serviceman and woman in places like Afghanistan on Christmas Day morning. Dvds produced by the Charity in the past two years have been a huge boost to morale.
One soldier wrote: "The magic and morale of the small red box I received from UK4U made a huge difference, not just on the day, but for the next three months of my tour. Whenever life got a bit hard, or the days seemed that bit tougher, I would watch the dvd with the messages from all the famous people and it would help me reach in and push myself that bit harder."
When it comes to boosting morale and creating unforgettable experiences for our troops, The British Forces Foundation has always been at the forefront. We understand that every gathering deserves a touch of magic and we are here to make it happen smoothly and effortlessly. Read our testimonials.
