Lionel Richie and the BFF
June 30, 2018

Singer Lionel Richie teamed up with the BFF to give away almost 1,000 tickets to members of the Armed Forces community.
The tickets, worth tens of thousands of pounds, were for three of the legend’s early summer shows in Perth, Chesterfield and Carlisle.
His gesture was gratefully and enthusiatically received. Gerry Haughey of HQ 51st Infantry Brigade and HQ Scotland said: “On behalf of everyone of the 170 recipients of the tickets for the Lionel Ritchie concert at McDiarmid Park yesterday evening, can I say a massive thank you for the opportunity. I’ve had nothing but a stream of positivity from the event, and it was an ideal opportunity for some very hard working individuals to relax and enjoy some live music.”
Another 200 personnel from RAF Lossiemouth also attended the same concert, SAC Cardell among them who wrote: “It was a really enjoyable time. I just wanted to say thank you for offering us the chance to go as it definitely is something that we would have been unlikely to go and do and we would have missed out for sure.”
The BFF would also like to say a massive thank you to Mr Lionel Richie for his support of the Charity and our amazing Armed Forces.
