The wonderful Rebecca Ferguson put on a show for BFF supporters at this year's summer ball.
The platinum album-selling soul diva performed tracks from her latest offering Lady Sings the Blues.
It was a highlight of a fantastic evening at The Dorchester in London which also had music from The Salon Orchestra of the Central Band of the Royal Air Force, and a hugely popular set from the band The Soul Lounge which had the dance-floor packed out.
Guests enjoyed a sumptuous three-course meal in the Ballroom with piper Craig Weir marking the end of the champagne reception and the move into formal proceedings.
During the course of the evening, BFF Director Mark Cann brought guests up to speed with the recent work undertaken by the Charity. He also had the honour of appointing a new BFF Ambassador, Mr Darius Sarosh, in recognition of his support to the charity over many years. He now joins the likes of Mr Steve Norris, Mr John Oakley and Mr Robin Parker who were also present on the night.
The all-important auction was taken by Thomas Plant - a regular on BBC's Bargain Hunt, Flog It and Antiques Road Trip - which raised a significant sum of money.
The BFF would like to thank all those who supported the event, in particular Platinum Sponsor Sir Donald Gosling KVCO and representatives from BMW Group Military Sales, ERSF, General Dynamics UK Ltd, Marlborough Communications Ltd, The Rose Charitable Foundation and The Royal Navy & Royal Marines Charity.
