The life we enjoy now has always been and will always be preserved by young people marching towards danger, to stand in harm’s way for us and the values we hold dear as a nation.

Serving away from home and loved ones, often in isolated locations in austere environments with poor amenities and communications in itself is a challenge; not to mention when it’s exhausting, lonely and frightening. Contact with home in the form of a BFF show is vital for morale and unit cohesion, breaking the monotony of the tour, changing the conversation whilst expressing the nations support, pride and admiration.

The British Forces Foundation was established to boost the morale of British servicemen and women – principally on operations, but all over the world – primarily through top-quality entertainment with popular, international stars. The shows, and the Charity’s other projects, convey the gratitude of the British public for the work they do and the sacrifices they make.
