Fun and laughter at HMS Sultan

There were loads of laughs and plenty of fun at HMS Sultan as the BFF, along with comedy partners Jongleurs, arrived on base.

More than 200 serving personnel and veterans packed the WO & Snr Rates Mess for a quality night of entertainment.

MC Phil Reid took control of proceedings, with Abi Carter-Simpson and then Mike Gunn taking to the stage. The event finished with the amazing Jonny Awsum whose music, comedy and audience participation had the crowd in raptures.

"Thank you for another unbelievable night of comedy," said CPOET (MESM) Buster Brown. "BFF have outdone yourselves again and put together a great show – Abi, Mike and Johnny were great, as was MC Phil.

"I have only heard positive comments from everybody who went, with people constantly recounting jokes from the evening and laughing again. If the aim was to raise morale, then the aim was met and exceeded once again."

The show was supported by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.
