The British Forces Foundation and Help For Heroes screening of the record breaking Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 came hot on the heels of the Leicester Square Premier earlier in the week. Aimed at the families of those away on the frontline as well as those injured/the families of those injured on the frontline, this charitable viewing marked the third such collaboration with Cineworld and – after Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1 in the build-up to Christmas last year – the second film from Warner Bros. Entertainment. Ben Vestey from The BFF was customarily brief in saying a few words before the film began: "The British Forces Foundation is renowned for sending big name stars such as Katherine Jenkins and James Blunt to the front line in Afghanistan, as well as producing shows for units returning home with the likes of The Saturdays, Jimmy Carr and Rob Brydon. These huge performers give their time and talent without charge, to send a message of appreciation direct from the Public to the men and women in our Armed Forces where the need is greatest. "These simple but effective screenings are a favourite of mine, in that they so perfectly mirror the platform upon which the Charity's main output is based. They rest on the generosity of Cineworld who provide this wonderful theatre (the "time") and Warner Bros. Entertainment for allowing us to show this long-awaited finalé (the "talent"). "Both Charity's exist due to support from the public and, on behalf of the public, it gives me great pleasure to say thank you for all that you do and enjoy the film!"
