A team of nine riders from British Forces Foundation sponsors Roseville Projects took part in the Trafalgar Way cycle from Pendennis Point, Falmouth to the Admiralty Arch, London - a 271 mile ride with an elevation of 6,700m.
Their aim was to beat the 37 hours that it took for the horses to complete the journey when travelling to London with the news on the Battle of Trafalgar.
The team managed to complete it in 36 hours and 43 minutes - beating the horses by just 17 minutes; a great achievement after an incredibly tough weekend.
So far their endeavours have raised almost £2,500 for the Rose Charitable Foundation and donations can still be made at www.virginmoneygiving.com/trafalgarwaychallenge/
