Fundraise for Us
Your efforts will convey the support of the British public to the men and women of our armed forces for the work and sacrifice they make. Karaoke, quiz, cake bake or kayaking up the Thames – there are hundreds of fun ways to involve family, friends and colleagues in support of our serving personnel.
Create your own fundraising challenge
The opportunities for fundraising are endless and with online donations pages collecting donations from friends, family and colleagues couldn’t be easier.
Here’s how:
- Choose your activity:
Pick something you are passionate about – it could be running, dancing, singing, skydiving… - Create your own fundraising page:
In a few minutes you can be set up your own very own personal fundraising page on JustGiving - Tell friends, family and colleagues….and BFF:
Email, facebook, twitter or best of all…in person – let people know. We would love to hear what you’re up to as well. - Send us your fundraising money:
Use your fundraising page or click here to see others ways to give to BFF. - Gift Aid it:
If you or your sponsors are UK taxpayers The BFF can claims back tax from donations at the basic rate. This is equivalent to 25p for every £1 donated. This makes it possible to increase your sponsorship/donations by almost a third, at no extra cost to you or to them!
Your sponsor must have paid Income Tax or Capital Gains Tax in the UK, equal to the amount of tax that will be reclaimed, to qualify for Gift Aid. Simply fill in the Sponsorship & Donations form here.
Set yourself a realistic target and keep the challenge simple and achievable. We are hugely grateful for all contributions, large or small.
Come to a BFF event
Alternatively, why not attend one of our fundraising events with friends, colleagues or clients.
Whatever you choose to do we’ll try to support you as much as possible. For advice call Jamie Grier on 01672 564 911 or email jamie@bff.org.uk
