ROYAL Marines returning from Operations in Afghanistan and Iraq were treated to a British Forces Foundation show to remember on June 25.

Jim Davidson OBE, international rock group The Jones Gang, comedian Kev Orkian and girl band Mama Said made the trip to Arbroath to perform for 45 Commando group.

The evening - sponsored by the Erach and Roshan Sadri Foundation - proved a huge success with a mix of great acts delivering high quality humour and music.

"It was a spectacular event and everybody who attended thoroughly enjoyed themselves," said Commanding Officer HQ 45 Commando Royal Marines, Lt Col Duncan Dewar. "I think you've really got a good thing going in the BFF; I am very definitely a convert."

The show was made possible thanks to a hugely generous £25,000 grant from the Erach & Roshan Sadri Foundation. The late Roshan Sadri was an Ambassador and major supporter of The British Forces Foundation, much-loved and sorely missed by the Charity.
