With a countdown of  "three, two, one - let's go plundering", The British Forces Foundation's fourth Armed Forces families screening of Pirates! In an Adventure with Scientists! got underway.

Sure to be a new British classic, Cineworld's ongoing partnership with The BFF continues to be a small but significant part of the Charity's morale boosting efforts.

Cineworld once again kindly offered the use of their flagship Haymarket screen, with Sony & Aardman giving permission to screen their film (released nationwide only a few days before) and Real D provided the glasses to ensure that the screening could be enjoyed by all in glorious 3-D.

As ever, the aim of these family viewings is to pass on the British public's gratitude for sacrifices made on their behalf. It is hoped that this home-front support, co-ordinated by Welfare Officers across London District and the surrounding area, reassures those on the frontline that they and their families continue to be appreciated.
