BAE Systems sponsorship deal

The British Forces Foundation is delighted to announce a new three-year sponsorship deal with BAE Systems worth £105,000, to help in its mission to boost morale among troops on the frontline. The agreement was unveiled onboard HMS Dauntless during this year’s Defence & Security International exhibition in London’s Royal Victoria Dock and marks the continuation of a long-standing relationship between the Charity and the defence giant. Secretary of State for Defence, Dr Liam Fox MP, addressed guests at the BAE Systems drinks reception, along with BFF Trustee and Minister for International Security Strategy, Gerald Howarth MP. BFF Director Mark Cann said: “The support of BAE Systems has been crucial to the growth and success of The BFF over the past few years. This latest sponsorship deal not only gives the Charity the financial security to plan ahead with confidence but at the same time it brings a huge amount of credibility to have an association with a respected global company like BAE Systems.” Nigel Whitehead, BAE Systems Group Managing Director- Programmes & Support, said: “BAE Systems is delighted to continue supporting the British Forces Foundation and the excellent work they do in providing entertainment for the men and women in the armed forces. This support is part of a 2M package of support BAE Systems provides to armed forces charities and events in the UK every year."
