BFF boost for RAF Benson

BFF Director Mark Cann answered the call from RAF Benson when they were searching for a guest speaker for a morale-boosting event.

Mark travelled to the Oxfordshire base to take part in a special talk which was primarily focussed on the RAF and the Burma Campaign of the Second World War.

He drew parallels with today's servicemen and women and said the life we enjoy now "has always been and will always be preserved by young people marching towards danger, to stand in harm’s way for us and the values we hold dear as a nation".

There were a hundred or so people at the event which Mark described as "very enjoyable".
