BFF fun at HMS Sultan

HMS Sultan hosted another night of great comedy - and magic - courtesy of the British Forces Foundation.

More than 200 people at the Royal Naval base got together at the Warrant Officers & Senior Rates Mess to enjoy the BFF show, which  was produced in partnership with Jongleurs and supported by the Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity.

Compere for the evening was the hugely popular comic Jason Patterson. Sharing the stage with him through the course of the show were the brilliant Dan Evans, magic maestro Mark Williams and the irrepressible John Ryan.

WO1 Daniel ‘Bouncy’ Castle said: "A massive thank you to The British Forces Foundation for a great event. All that attended had a great time and what was nice, people left asking ‘cannot wait for them to come back’."

The BFF would like to thank WO1 Castle and his team at the base who helped ensure the event was such a success.

HMS Sultan is the home of Defence School of Marine Engineering (DSMarE) and the Royal Naval Air Engineering and Survival School (RNAESS).

The primary function for HMS Sultan is to supply the Fleet with engineering Officers and Ratings of the highest standard.
