THE British Forces Foundation travelled to Afghanistan at Christmas to spread some much-needed cheer with comedians Clive Cooper and Anthony Scott.
Responding to a request for the morale-boosting visit, The BFF team were ready to visit the servicemen and women in the Forward Operating Bases - the only organisation prepared to do so.
Unfortunatelyy, having arrived by military transport in Kandahar, things didn't go according to plan and The BFF was unable to get to see as many of the troops as had been wished.
The Charity's Director, Mark Cann, was among the party who made the trip to Afghanistan. He said: "As always, The BFF was ready and willing to travel to the FOBs but due to unforeseen circumstances, entirely beyond our control, this time it didn't happen."
When it comes to boosting morale and creating unforgettable experiences for our troops, The British Forces Foundation has always been at the forefront. We understand that every gathering deserves a touch of magic and we are here to make it happen smoothly and effortlessly. Read our testimonials.
