The British Forces Foundation has teamed up with the London Soccerdome - formerly the David Beckham Academy - for a number of exciting 6-a-side tournaments this spring.
The first is the 'Financial World Cup 2010' which will take place on May 19th at the fantastic Greenwich Peninsula sporting facility.
Teams from the world of finance are invited to battle it out to see who is the best in the profession; and there's a chance for the legal profession and construction industry to show off their footballing prowess in the following weeks.
The tournament is for teams comprising squads of 10 players each and will take the form of group stages followed by knockout rounds, leading to a final. Each team will play a minimum of four matches.
The cost of entering a team is £500 with all proceeds going to The BFF - so whilst competing you will also be raising money for a fantastic cause.
Matches start on the night from 7pm, drinks vouchers are included and food will be available after the tournament.
The same format applies to the 'Legal World Cup 2010', this time with squads from the legal profession, which takes place on May 27th; and also the 'Construction World Cup 2010' on June 10th.
