The Mayor of Bracknell Forest, Councillor Ash Merry, is launching an exciting new initiative, ‘Challenge the Mayor’ to raise money for the British Forces Foundation.
Local individuals, companies and organisations within the borough are invited to challenge the Mayor of Bracknell Forest to take part in a task or ‘challenge’ in exchange for a donation to this year’s Mayoral charities – BFF and SSAFA Berkshire.
The task can be anything from serving behind the counter of a shop for an hour, to being a Quiz Master at an event, from acting as an usher at a wedding, to singing in a choir, from personal shopping, to being a guest at a special birthday - the list is endless, and all challenges will be considered!
The Mayor, Councillor Ash Merry, said: “I am very much looking forward to receiving a variety of challenges and working with a diverse range of people, learning new skills and having fun in the process”.
If you have a challenge for the Mayor, please contact the Mayor’s office, mayor@bracknell-forest.gov.uk, with details of your challenge and how much you would be willing to donate to the mayoral charities if the Mayor accomplishes it.
When it comes to boosting morale and creating unforgettable experiences for our troops, The British Forces Foundation has always been at the forefront. We understand that every gathering deserves a touch of magic and we are here to make it happen smoothly and effortlessly. Read our testimonials.
