Christmas fun for HMS Middleton

The British Forces Foundation helped deliver a little extra festive sparkle for the company of HMS Middleton and their partners who have faced a busy period of deployments.

Making the most of some time together they threw a Gatsby-themed party at the National Explosion Museum in Gosport - and the BFF was on hand to help it go with a swing.

"The event was a great success and the band and DJ were fantastic," said PO Mark Vaughan. "Thank you again for your amazing support.

"Last year our Christmas leave was cut short due to us being activated while we were the DT1 ship, and during the Christmas period in 2026 our crew will be deployed again as we will be on our third OP KIPION rotation in the Middle East."
