Christmas with the BFF

What better way to get in the Christmas spirit than a fun and festive get-together with good food, great company and lots of laughter. Christmas with the BFF offers all that, and more, in the beautifully decorated setting of the Cavalry & Guards Club, Piccadilly, on Thursday 11th December 2025.

"It will be wonderful to see so many of our supporters again after the success of last year's Ball," said BFF Director Mark Cann. "The evening will be a special way to bring in the festive season - for people to come together and have a good time."

The party begins with a drinks reception in the Field Marshal's Room, and guests will then make their way upstairs for the sumptuous dinner. During the course of the evening there will be a raffle as well as an auction - the perfect opportunity to pick up some special and out of the ordinary Christmas gifts.

The BFF is also delighted to announce as guest speaker, Jim Dowdell, British stunt coordinator and performer who has worked on eight Bond movies, Indiana Jones, Star Wars, Where Eagles Dare and Saving Private Ryan as well as Top Gear and dozens of other TV shows. The former Para has endless amusing and hair-raising anecdotes backed up by his experience of looking after some of the most expensive ‘stars’ in the world. Jim is also an avid collector of WW2 military vehicles and motorcycles. He owned a WW2 amphibious DUKW for 25 years and crossed the English Channel in it for the 50th anniversary of D-Day.

December 11th's festive get-together is the BFF's flagship fundraiser for 2025. The event has already attracted generous sponsorship from ERSF, founded by BFF Ambassador Darius Sarosh OBE who was deservedly recognised in this year's King's Birthday Honours List for 'services to Philanthropy'. 

There are other sponsorship opportunities available, while tables for the event (10 guests) cost £1,250. Please contact Mark Seymour at marks@bff.org.uk to book. There are also a limited number of individual places.

To help ensure the fundraising success of the event we are asking all our supporters if they have anything they are willing to donate to the auction taking place on the evening. All monies raised on the night will help pay for the numerous shows we have planned for British troops and their families at home and abroad in 2026.
