SOME 28 supporters of The British Forces Foundation enjoyed dinner with the Charity's President, Baroness Thatcher, at a London venue.
The guests gathered at the Cavalry & Guards Club on February 15 to meet the very special host. She chatted with each of them on a one-to-one basis and said how pleased she was to be involved with The BFF.
The Charity's Director, Mark Cann, spoke passionately about The British Forces Foundation's work in Afghanistan, from where he and The BFF team had returned just two days earlier.
There followed a four-course dinner which was enjoyed by all and the evening proved to be a lot of fun. Among the guests were the BFF Chairman Laurie Mansfield, Trustee Sir James Perowne and Assistant Chief of the General Staff Maj Gen Simon Mayall.
