The British Forces Foundation is delighted to be the chosen charity for Dive 2011. Visitors to the show, which takes place at the NEC Birmingham on October 22 and 23, are being encouraged to get behind the cause and show their support for the Armed Forces. Royal Marine L/Cpl Matt Croucher GC, who famously was awarded the George Cross for leaping on a grenade to save his colleagues, has helped bring the BFF and the diving community together. Matt is pictured above working with a quad amputee underwater in Florida. “We are about to launch the Matt Croucher Appeal as part of our work,” explained the Charity’s CEO Mark Cann, “and Matt has stipulated that the Deptherapy Foundation – a revolutionary approach to rehabilitation for former servicemen and women through scuba diving – should benefit from that, which we are extremely happy to do and are very much look forward to working with them.” For more information about  Dive 2011 visit www.diveshows.co.uk.  As part of the offer all service personnel, as well as former members of the Armed Forces, can get two tickets for the price of one at the show on producing identification. Tickets cost £10.50 each and kids under 14 go free. The 2-4-1 offer is ONLY available on the door on production of an appropriate warrant card. Alternatively you can book tickets in advance for £7.50. (£6.50 if you book six or more at the same time) click here. Dive 2011 is the UK’s biggest dive show withmore than 300 companies on show. Visitors will be able to talk to all the major diver training agencies to get the best advice, and to search for the perfect holiday in places such as the Red Sea, the Caribbean, South-East Asia and the Philippines. And, if you fancy having a go, you can book a free session in the show’s Try Dive pool. DIVE 2011 has also attracted some of TV's biggest diving stars. Paul Rose, who fronted the BBC’s recent Britain’s Secret Seas series, and Great Escapes’ Monty Halls are heading up the free speaker programme, talking about the making of these fascinating programmes. There are also plenty of free seminars taking a more in-depth look at some of the very best holiday destinations around the world.
