A silver proof £5 coin set, in tribute to the modern day heroes of the Armed Forces, has been issued by The Westminster Collection with some of the proceeds benefitting The British Forces Foundation. Each coin set, presented in a deluxe presentation case along with an accompanying Certificate of Authenticity, represents an £8.17 donation to the Charity for each one sold. The set costs £245 plus postage and packing. Although military-themed coins are very popular, there are very few coins sets that pay tribute to our modern day heroes across all services of the Armed Forces – The British Army, The Royal Navy and The Royal Air.
