Fantastic Fifth Annual Quiz Challenge

On an evening that saw the return of inaugural winners BAE Systems to take on the might of triple winners Diageo, the results were dramatic but from unexpected quarters.

BAE System stormed out of the box with a perfect 10 in round 1 but could not quite find the momentum to hold this lead. The now familiar pattern of Diageo inexorably marching their way to the lead was interrupted by General Dynamics who pipped them to a one point lead before the final round.

The sport round proved to be a low scorer but Diageo were just able to find that extra point to share the honours. The Team Captain prize – a pen kindly donated by The Pen Shop – was awarded to General Dynamics' Wendy Rogers for their feat in putting a new name on the plinth. Perhaps the matter will be resolved in 2013?
