Gethin Jones to host Morale Awards

Television action man Gethin Jones is to host the first ever BFF Morale Awards at a lunch-time ceremony in London on Monday 22nd November 2010 - and tickets are on sale now.

Presenter of the new ITV show 71 Degrees North, Gethin will be joined by a  host of other celebrities at the event which is recognising and thanking those who share the Charity's aim of boosting the morale of those on the frontline.

Nominations for the honours are already being invited for the ceremony which will be held at The Brewery in Chiswell Street, London at 12.30.

There are a total of six awards up for grabs, wth four of the category winners hand-picked by the panel of BFF judges and the other two decided by public vote.

It will provide the perfect opportunity to recognise those in, and associated with, the Armed Forces who have gone beyond the call of duty to boost morale and keep the spirits high.

Award categories include: the Jim Davidson Award; the troops' favourite all-round personality; a life-time achievement award and the 'unsung hero. A full list of all categories, details on how to nominate someone for an award and the voting process will be announced shortly.

Tables for the awards ceremony itself are already on sale. Platinum Tables are priced at £3,000 which includes sponsorship of one of the awards categories. There are Gold Tables at a cost of £1,500 (for a table of ten) and Silver Tables at £850.
