24th February 2015
The brilliant Panto Bus team entertained Forces families up and down the country over the course of February half term.
The tour travelled throughout the west country, bringing fun and laughter to service families with their fantastic performances of Cinderella.
The performances were met with huge enthusiasm from the audiences, and the British Forces Foundation, which organised the touring pantomime with generous support from the Royal Navy & Royal Marine Charity, has been inundated with messages of thanks. One said, "I just wanted to say a very big thank you on behalf of all those who attended the Panto Bus production of Cinderella at RNAS Yeovilton. It was an amazing evening and all the children (and adults) enjoyed it immensely.
"The interaction before, during and after the show by the cast was first rate. Indeed, my daughters said it was the best pantomime that they had ever been to! It was fantastic that there was no charge for this event and also it was a real positive that the Forces children in our community were made to feel so special."
Another viewer showed her support: "You really went above and beyond and this really meant a lot to me and my kids."
Many audience members also said they'd like a return: "We can't thank you enough and look forward to more events in the future" wrote one Service family member.
Get ready for double delight as the Panto Bus will be sending two shows on the road at the same time later this year!
