Sleaford Town Rangers FC recently held a memorial match for one of the club's founders, Jim Pacey, who sadly passed away in 2019 when celebrating the club's first ever victory. His family very kindly asked that money collected at the special game be donated to the BFF as Jim was an ex-serviceman. A spokesman for the Club said: "We were honoured to welcome Jim’s family, friends and colleagues from Briggs Equipment UK for his memorial match against Brigg Town Football Club CIC to reveal Jim’s bench so we can look across and remember him at every Rangers home game. "Thank you to everyone who attended in the 100-plus crowd, the Brigg Town players and our friendly local ice cream van Party delights all donating many pounds on the gate and raffle. We are delighted to be able to donate £300 to The British Forces Foundation, the family’s chosen charity in Jim’s memory." The BFF would like to thank Jim's family and all those involved in the match which remembered a true gent and founder member of Rangers, Jim Pacey.
