Comedian Jimmy Carr visited injured troops, theiir families and nursing staff at the Royal Centre for Defence Medicine (Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham) with The British Forces Foundation.
The morale-boosting visit made a huge difference, especially as many of the patients spend many monotonous months in hospital. Jimmy had a fantastic rapport with all those he met and everyone had a great time.
