Jools Holland, accompanied by Ruby Turner, starred at this year's Rhythm Force event, raising money for The British Forces Foundation and the Army Benevolent Fund.

The 3-hour open air concert, featuring some of the best rock and pop bands the Army has to offer, took place at Kneller Hall in Twickenham on Saturday evening. Its aim is the professional development of The Corps of Army Music’s best contemporary capabilities as well as recruitment of new young blood in order to provide the manpower for the 22 bands of the Regular Army.

Thousands of people flocked to the Royal Military School of Music to enjoy event which is in its fourth year and growing in its popularity.

The British Forces Foundation's Lap of Honour display was a huge success and the bucket collections alone raised more than £2,700 to be split between the BFF and ABF.
