Katherine Jenkins' tickets for the Armed Forces

British Forces Foundation Trustee Katherine Jenkins OBE gave away tickets to her concert in Oxford to members of the Armed Forces.

The star was performing at the New Theatre Oxford as part of her 25 Year Anniversary Tour across the UK.

Personnel at RAF bases Brize Norton and Benson took up the ticket offer and were delighted with the experience.

"The performance was incredible, goosebumps from start to finish, lots of tears throughout Requiem for a Soldier," said Jemma Stephen. "It brought back a lot of memories.

"The whole show was just completely captivating. A huge thank you to BFF and bravo to Katherine for such an amazing evening."

Those sentiments were echoed by WO Matthew John. "My wife and I had a fantastic evening and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience. Katherine was exceptional throughout, and it was a real privilege to be able to attend.

"Thanks to everyone involved, as well as our appreciation to the British Forces Foundation for making the evening possible. It was a memorable experience for us both."
