International singing sensation Katherine Jenkins made a private visit to the injured military patients being treated at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham. The British Forces Foundation Trustee spent two and half hours at the hospital talking to patients and staff on the ward. "Katherine has shown herself a true champion of the Arned Forces," said BFF Director Mark Cann. "Her easy-going personality and humour was clearly a great boost to those she saw - both staff and patients. "She, as ever, was moved and motivated to see the strength, fortitude and commitment of these young men who are willing to sacrifice so much for us."
