Television presenter Lorraine Kelly launched UK4U's Diamond Jubilee Christmas Box for troops with a little help from the Royal Marines display team.
Watched by the Charity's sponsors and supporters - with personnel from all three Armed Services - Lorraine came down a zip wire from the top of London's Wellingtion Arch to meet Father Christmas, aka uk4u Trustee Allan Sims.
This year, 22,000 Christmas Boxes have been produced and sent to all UK Service personnel who are on operations and away from their families and loved ones this Christmas.
Included in the boxes is The British Forces Foundation's special Christmas DVD with festive messages from a host of stars including Alan Carr, Graham Norton, The Saturdays, Stephen Fry, Professor Green, Philip Schofield and David Walliams. Thanks to The Royal Navy and Royal Marines Charity for their support of the DVD.
The boxes also contain The BFF's 'One Fee Drink' vouchers which servicemen and women will be able to redeem at their nearest participating pub on their return to the UK in the new year.
