NUFFIELD Trust for the Forces of the Crown has once again demonstrated its tremendous support to The British Forces Foundation with a £25,000 grant.
The hugely generous award was to help the Charity purchase its very own vehicle for the transportation of performers and equipment to BFF events around the UK - including the annual fundraising Ball at the Park Lane Hotel, London, on Thursday June 28th 2007.
The vehicle is a NIssan Pathfinder - sleek and comfortable for the stars, big and practical for hauling around sound and lighting cases for shows.
In 2006 Nuffield Trust for the Forces of the Crown gave £25,000 in support of the BFF's bid to purchase its very own sound system. The Charity wanted to invest in specialist lightweight equipment to help it meet the growing demands for more shows in more inhospitable places around the world.
