The BFF staged a top class night of comedy to spread a little joy among British troops deployed on TANGHAM.
Comedians Mo Omar, Kane Grown and Andy Askins made the trip to Mogadishu with the Charity to put on the much appreciated show.
British soldiers deploy to Op TANGHAM for six months and beyond and there is little in the way of welfare facilities and entertainment during downtime.
Speaking ahead of the show, a spokesman said: "There is no doubt that live entertainment will increase morale of the soldiers and provide relief from repetitive daily activity. Additionally the social opportunity will enhance cohesion amongst the Missions and ranks within Op TANGHAM. This opportunity will be something for everyone to look forward to and break up the deployed period."
The British Army is helping fight Islamic extremism in Somalia by training members of the Somalia National Army.
When it comes to boosting morale and creating unforgettable experiences for our troops, The British Forces Foundation has always been at the forefront. We understand that every gathering deserves a touch of magic and we are here to make it happen smoothly and effortlessly. Read our testimonials.
