25th September 2010
More than 7,000 people enjoyed this year's Rhythm Force spectacular at Kneller Hall, home to the Corps of Army Music.
Headliners Status Quo had the ground rocking as they belted out some of their classics including the re-released and re-worked In the Army.
Earlier in the evening the crowd were treated to some different sounds with the wonderful voice of New Zealander soprano Hayler Westenra, X Factor finalist and star of the West End Ray Quinn, and the Army's very own home-grown The Soldiers.
Joining those headline acts were the very best rock and pop bands that the Corps of Army Music has to offer.
The event proved a huge success with a share of the profits split equally between The British Forces Foundation and The Soldiers Charity. Status Quo performed for charity.
Plans are already underway for next year's event and the date for Rhythm Force 2011 has been set for Saturday 17 September. More details, including the line-up, will be revealed nearer the time.
