Rock legends storm SAS show

Legends of rock stormed the annual British Forces Foundation show for the SAS. The Who, Queen and 10cc were all represented on stage in this extraordinary concert. Roger Daltrey, Roger Taylor and Graham Gouldman headlined the amazing band put together by Queen keyboard maestro Spike Edney. Joined by the fantastic FABBAGIRLS, they raised the roof with some absolute classics which spanned the decades. The venue at the home of the SAS in Hereford was packed full of the elite troops and their partners who witnessed one of the best music spectaculars that they are ever likely to see. Roger Daltrey told the crowd: "It has been an honour to play for you guys tonight - thank you for what you do." Artists and musicians who have performed with Spike's All-Star Band Bare part of an ever growing collection of some of the world’s greatest Rock and Pop performers and include such names as Paul McCartney, Radiohead, Tina Turner, Robbie Williams, Tom Jones and many more. Having heard The Who sing Queen and Queen play The Who, rock and roll hits from the 60s, 70s and 80s, plus the Abba set from the FABBAGIRLS, the concert finished in festive mode with a rousing rendition of Santa Claus is Coming to Town.
