Sir Elton John, long-time supporter of The British Forces Foundation and our amazing Armed Forces, made another generous gesture at the weekend.
The 'Rocket Man' gave away 150 tickets, via The BFF, to Service personnel for his Saturday concert at the Metro Radio Arena in Newcastle.
Elton performed songs from his latest album Wonderful Crazy Night as well as his most-loved hits.
Among Service personnel to lucky enough to get their free ticket were those from RAF Boulmer and 3 Royal Horse Artillery.
