Style for Soldiers officially launched as a charity under the umbrella of the British Forces Foundation, with a summer party at The Cavalry and Guards Club.

"We asked many of the Servicemen and their families whom we have met since 2008 - measuring at Headley Court Rehabilitation Hospital for Bespoke shirts, and now walking sticks - which created a great reunion," said Emma Willis.

"They also met the ladies from the factory who take great pleasure in making their shirts, and our customers who generously support Style for Soldiers."

Patrons General Sir Richard Shirreff, Deputy Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and Telegraph Fashion Editor Lisa Armstrong introduced the charity, followed by moving speeches made by Lieutenant Alex Horsfall and Corporal Andy Reid.

The evening was very well supported by the British Fashion business, and was a huge success.
