The 2012 British Forces Foundation's Summer Ball was a classic in every sense of the word, with a stunning performance by the operatic quartet Amore.

Their trenendous quality of singing, for which the audience demanded an encore, was then matched on the comedy front by the pure genius of The Boy with Tape on his Face to cap a wonderful night's entertainment.

The event at The Dorchester in London began with a champagne reception followed by dinner which was announced by the trumpeters of the Royal Wessex Yeomanry, who played beautitully throughout the evening.

BFF's loyal supporters and guests were welcomed by the Founder and Trustee of the Charity, Jim Davidson OBE, and were launched straight into an evening of fun and fund-raising.

Great food and ambience, combined with the fantastic entertainment, ensured a good time for all which was reflected in the generous support of the BFF Bingo, the raffle, silent and loud auctions..

After the Loyal Toast by BFF Trustee Admiral Sir James Perowne, the Charity's Director, Mark Cann, brought guests up to date with various projects, including shows for frontline troops, Lap of Honour, the BFF App and the Christmas DVD.
