Team BFF slay London Marathon

Huge congratulations to Team BFF who took on the 2025 TCS London Marathon - and won! Between them, John Brady, Emma Clayton, Jeanette Pope, Charlene Stanton, Mike Sutcliffe, Alison Towler, and Lucy Walsh raised an incredible £12,000 for the Charity.

"It was tough in that heat - well done everyone," said Jeanette. "Thoroughly enjoyed my first marathon, thank you for being part of it."

Mike finished the race in just three hours and three minutes which qualifies him for the Boston and Chicago marathons. "That was tough - trust the weather to be an amazingly sunny day," he said. "But what a day; that experience was unreal. The support along the rout blew my mind."

Jon, a former manager of Northampton Town Football Club, thanked the "many Cobblers supporters who sponsored me, and my family and friends - that was amazing really. I could not believe the amount shouting out 'shoe army' on the way round!"
