The Corporate Cup at the London Soccerdome, in aid of The British Forces Foundation, has been moved from September to December.

The new date for the this spectacular event inside the former David Beckham Academy is now December 15th 2010 to round the year off in true style.

Some 20 teams – each assigned a celebrity manager – will compete in the Group Stages of the competition.

There will personalised team strips for all teams who will each play a minimum of four games before the Knock-out Rounds and the ultimate Final.

The British Forces Foundation will be fielding it's very own team in The Corporate Cup and there will also be sides invited from the three Services giving corporate players the chance to test their skills and fitness against the cream of our Armed Forces.

Close to the O2 arena, the Soccerdome is Europe's premier indoor football arena. Under the twin dome are two full size new generation artificial grass pitches. The other facilities are superb including professional quality changing rooms and state of the art catering and hospitality facilities. The facility really does make those playing feel like professionals.

Every team will be allocated a celebrity manager from the world of professional football. This manager will guide and coach the team as they progress through the tournament, allowing players a real insight into the professional game as well as allowing them to really get to know their manager.

The initial stages of the tournament will see teams compete in groups before progressing to knock out phases with half of the teams competing for the BFF Corporate Cup and half for the BFF Corporate Plate.

All matches will be refereed by fully qualified match officials and filmed by a professional camera crew. The camera crew will also interview players before and after games and a DVD will produced for all players.

After the tournament there will be a trophy presentation and drinks reception during which players, their guests and celebrities will be able to mix and discuss the evening's games. There will also be a raffle with sporting memorabilia for prizes.

Organisers behind the event said: "We anticipate media interest in the tournament allowing organisations that participate to have their support to The BFF and our Armed Forces publicly recognised.

"We're sure the whole evening will be something special, a real reward for those chosen to play and those who attend as their guests and that we'll be able to really send a message of support to our soldiers, sailors and airmen deployed around the world."
