The Stage newspaper has published a 'call to arms' from The British Forces Foundation to Britain’s biggest performers to help send a message of appreciation from the public direct to our troops on the front-line.
Whether it be for shows to Afghanistan, UK based shows for units returning from operational duties, visits to Headley Court rehabilitation centre or Selly Oak hospital – an ever growing list of stars have contributed enormously to boosting the morale of these brave servicemen and women.
The Saturdays, Katherine Jenkins, Jimmy Carr, David Walliams, Rob Brydon, Ruth Jones and Rory Bremner are just some of those who have recently given their time and talent in this way.
The BFF receives no government funding and relies entirely on private and public donations. The demands on the Charity’s output have increased in-line with the pressures of sustained deployments to operational theatres in both Afghanistan and, until recently, Iraq.
When it comes to boosting morale and creating unforgettable experiences for our troops, The British Forces Foundation has always been at the forefront. We understand that every gathering deserves a touch of magic and we are here to make it happen smoothly and effortlessly. Read our testimonials.
