Clothing Collections
The British Forces Foundation operates a successful clothing collection scheme to raise funds for our work. Look out for our textile recycling bags which will be posted through your door at allocated times across the year. Working with our partner Midland Textiles, The British Forces Foundation receives a donation per tonne of clothing collected.
Below are images of two possible designs you might receive.
Printing Error (June 2013)
If you suspect whether your bag is genuine please contact us by email info@bff.org.uk
It was recently discovered that a printing error had been made on a number of the inner bags – those to be filled and left out for collection.
The text on the inner bag refers to The British Forces Foundation but the helpline number and Charity numbers quoted (1093387 in England, and SC040096 in Scotland) are incorrect and relate to another of Midland Textile’s partners, The Firefighter’s Charity.
These bags are genuine. We are aware of the error and are now working with our partners to remove and replace all the affected bags. If you have any queries regarding the legitimacy of your bag please call the helpline number 0845 557 7294 or contact The BFF.
