The Founder

Jim Davidson OBE is the Founder of The British Forces Foundation.

The Board of Trustees

The charity has been personally endorsed by the Chief
of the Defence Staff and ministers and attracts a prestigious line-up of Trustees:

The Director

The Director of the British Forces Foundation is Mark Cann who served for 12 years in the Army as a Queen’s Royal Lancer retiring as a Major aged 32. He served in Bosnia, Cyprus, Mozambique, Belize, Germany, India, UK and Canada. He became Director of the BFF in June 2000.

Vice-Presidents – The Vice-Presidents of the BFF are HE Mahfouz bin Mahfouz, Major General Arthur Denaro CBE, Admiral Sir Jock Slater GCB LVO DL and General The Lord Guthrie GCB LVO OBE.

BFF Ambassadors – The British Forces Foundation is proud to have the support of the following Ambassadors – Anna Blundell-Williams, Terry Casey, Derek Cole, Tony Chaperlin, Paul Hayes, Linda Heath, Nigel Jackson, Tony Lock, Steve Norris, John Oakley, Mike Osman, Robin Parker, Sheri Roane, Darius Sarosh, Richard Stone and Anthony White.

A team of nine riders from British Forces Foundation sponsors Roseville Projects took part in the Trafalgar Way cycle from Pendennis Point, Falmouth to the Admiralty Arch, London – a 271 mile ride with an elevation of 6,700m.
